Please post any and all of this on your website... honestly, I don't have enough words to describe the dress you produced but I am going to do my best to try.

Loyce, as you know, I came to you after what seemed like an endless search to make my dress a reality. My (at the time) soon-to-be (is now) mother-in-law had designed for me, a dress that encapsulated everything I wanted in a gown. By the time I found you, I had already met with a woman who worked out of a shed with little credibility; I had been turned away... very far away from a woman who gave up dress making 20 years ago (not sure how she was still listed) and I had been let down by someone who essentially had her own best interest at hand. Needless to say, I was feeling defeated. You and your mom (Sara) welcomed Mama Kiki and I with opened arms and an instant feeling that everything would be above and beyond OK.

That it would be "OK" didn't even begin to describe the reality of how amazing my experience was with you. You embraced the detail of the design, you embodied the designer's vision as though it were your own, you exuded a very necessary sense of PATIENCE and CALM when I felt like I was going to lose my mind... we'll keep that as our own little inside joke! Loyce, you were kind enough to work within a budget that was certainly far less then you, your mom, and both of your talents were worthy of and for that I will be forever eternally grateful. As for the detail... every line, every stitch, every strand of beading, every fitting blossomed into a true piece of art... envisioned by 1, drawn by 1, created by 1. Your knowledge of fabrics, their movements, their temperature, their weight, their cost and all of those associated with my body was that of a master. The most important aspect was the care you put into implementing my mother's wedding gown. I can tell you that with uttermost respect for you that I received infinite compliments on the dress, AND on the elegance of my Mom's dress being incorporated. OK that's a long run-on sentence... sorry!

Loyce, in short, you have been blessed with a gift that was handed down to you by generations prior. You're so fortunate to work with your mother and to provide such a continuous gift to so many brides. You are the purveyor of happiness and I am so honored to have worked with your talent and to have been touched by your soul.

My dress was beyond my dream... as simple or extravagant as they may be. Your spirit was with me as I stepped into the dress on the day of my wedding, as I walked down the aisle with my father, and as I danced my first dance with my husband. All the while I knew I was wrapped up in a blessing created by you.

Thank you Loyce. For your spirit, your talent, your mom, your husband (for giving you the time on his birthday to work with me) and for your energy... may every bride that works with you feel as blessed as I have... and may every bride who doesn't feel envy of those who do.

Thank you, thank you thank you.
